Using Analytics to Improve Your Profile
What You'll Learn
- Navigate your analytics dashboard
- Identify your best-performing links
- Make data-driven improvements
Step 1: Open Your Analytics
Click "Analytics" in your dashboard sidebar. You'll see:
- Total visits: How many people viewed your profile
- Total clicks: How many times links were clicked
- Click-through rate: Percentage of visitors who clicked something
- Top links: Which links get the most action
Step 2: Check Your Click-Through Rate
This is your most important metric. It tells you what percentage of visitors click at least one link.
- Below 30%: Something's wrong. Your links might not be relevant.
- 30-50%: Pretty good. Room for improvement.
- Above 50%: Excellent. Keep doing what you're doing.
Step 3: Identify Your Winners
Look at your "Top Links" list. These are getting the most clicks.
Ask yourself:
- Why are these performing well?
- Can I create more links like them?
- Should I move them higher up the list?
Step 4: Find Your Losers
Links with zero or very few clicks are dead weight. For each one, decide:
- Delete it: If it's not relevant anymore
- Rewrite the title: Maybe it's not clear what it is
- Move it: Try putting it higher up
Give changes a week, then check again.
Step 5: Track Traffic Sources
See where your visitors come from (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.). Double down on what's working.
Pro Tips
- Check analytics weekly, not daily—you need enough data to see patterns
- Compare week-over-week for accurate trends
- Export your data monthly to track long-term growth
